Sometime people don’t know where to start when it comes to link building. Obviously there are the traditional techniques for link building such as forum posting and blog commenting.  But how do you know if the comments or posts are dofollow or nonfollow links? Clicking on every blog and seeing if the already posted comment is dofollow or not is a pretty tedious process, right?

Link Building Tip #1

Until now (infomercial sales man voice)! Our first tip is a pretty simple one. Just simply search “directory of dofollow blogs” or “directory of dofollow forums”. There are tons of lists and a lot of them even are even listed in ranking order from highest Page Ranks to the lowest to show which will give you the most SEO juice. Make sure when commenting on the blog that you are posting relevant information that is pertinent to the post or other comments. Otherwise it will be viewed as SPAM, most likely be removed by an administrator and shed a negative light upon your site .

Link Building Tip/Hack #2

Our second tip is actually a combination of a couple tools. Keywordluv is a CMS plugin that website use that allows commenter to link to their website with dofollow links. The comments can still be moderated but if you follow the basic guidelines for posting you should be fine. You can even use an anchor link which can be displayed as such, Corey fromOrlando SEO, with your comment following below it which offer more value than traditional links. Now this is a great tool right? But it gets better.

We previously spoke about SEO Quake browser plugin that allows you to have a SEO information overlay on your search results. Now if you enable the search engine overlay in your browser and search for the terms “this site uses keywordluv” or “keyword luv” then you will be able to view all sites that use this keyword tool. Next click the blog search tab on the left hand side of Google search so that you are only search blogs. Lastly, click the PR tab on the SEO Quake overlay to display ranking order from highest to lowest PR keywordluv using blogs on the internet. Now you can even one up this by adding a time parameter on the left hand side as well to search for the most recent posts.

These 2 hacks/tips should have you well on your way to adding several quality backlinks a day. Again, stay away from SPAMy comments like “great post! check out my site!” and try to add knowledgeable tidbits to the conversation. This way you will build online reputation as well backlinks
